Welcome! We are Rosemary, Stuart and E.J. Follow us as we travel around Australia exploring, learning and growing. We are 'vitalistic' travelers, and hopefully as our Journey unfolds we will learn to explain what that means!

We are interested in holistic health, organic farming practices, sustainable living, conscious parenting, natural learning and travel among other things so within this blog you will find articles, stories and links that reflect these interests.

Enjoy!

Bundaberg's Botanical Gardens

After leaving Mackay we headed to Bundaberg to visit with my parents.
It's been a wonderful to be able to stop and recharge after the whirlwind that was February.
We've been working on the creation of Mum and Dad's organic veggie garden (by we, I mean Stu ;) ), playing at the beach and enjoying the beautiful Botanical Gardens. It is well worth a visit with lizards, turtles, ducks, geese, lots of walkways, a train that runs on the weekend and a thousand other things that are fascinating for young and old.

These three geese were like characters out of a fairy tale.
Strutting onto the shore in a row, their waddling adventures were delightful to watch.
Elijah is loving being able to stand, squat and dream of walking :)
Elijah is delighted to have lot of adoring fans, namely Grandma Deedee and Grandpa Geoff.
Having discovered Grandma's nose the previous day, it is now being found all the time :)

The ducks were not concerned about people and happily ate and chattered about with us nearby.

Beautiful Japanese gardens and a lovely area dedicated to Bundaberg's Japanese sister city.

Hundreds of birds live on the islands in the middle of the ponds.
